Latest on Odsonne Edouard’s Dortmund future

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly decided against making a move for Odsonne Edouard.

The Celtic striker has been watched by the German giants, who sent scouts to cast their eye over him last October as he netted a hat-trick for France’s U21s in their 5-3 win over Slovakia.

According to Ruhr24 though Edouard is no longer on Dortmund ‘s shortlist.

The outlet reports that they watched ‘French Eddy’ on several occasions but the Borussia Dortmund hierarchy were not sufficiently convinced.

While the Germans were clearly struck by Edouard’s talent, Ruhr24 says that a price tag of up to £30million put them off.
