With the Bundesliga title all but heading back to Munich, attention turns to the next round of fixtures.
This Sunday’s game will provide the perfect chance to bounce back from Tuesday’s disappointment and secure second in the table.
Tuesday night was a night for Dortmund to prove their title capability to the world.
Throughout the game, Dortmund did manage to go toe to toe with their title rivals. Joshua Kimmich’s goal of the season contender was enough to see out a 1-0 victory. The question will now be how will Dortmund bounce back?

Wednesday night saw SC Paderborn 07 take on Augsburg away from home. With the away side eight points away from a relegation playoff place, a draw was not the best result. The tight game may have swung in the away sides favour had it not been for the woodwork denying them.

Since the league restarted SC Paderborn 07 have drawn all three games (0-0, 1-1, 0-0) finding scoring goals difficult.
The reverse fixture saw these two sides draw 3-3 at the Signal Iduna Park. The away side that day saw themselves leading 3-0 at halftime only to see a Dortmund comeback.
Dortmund have shown this season that they can respond will after defeat. After losing to Hoffenheim they beat Augsburg 5-3 away, and after losing to Bayer Leverkusen they beat Frankfurt 4-0. This match will provide the best chance for BVB to get back to winning ways.
The big injury news for this game will see Håland miss out after sustaining a knee injury in Tuesday night’s game.
The hope is the striker won’t be out for too long but will certainly be out for this game.
With that injury in mind is this the game we finally see Sancho welcomed back into the starting lineup? The winger has come from the bench in all three games so far. There are no fresh injury concerns for the home side as Kilian remains their only absentee.
SC Paderborn 07 team prediction: Zingerle; Jans, Hunemeier, Schonlau, Collins; Antwi-Adjej, Vasiliadis, Gjasula, Holtmann; Mamba, Srbeny
Dortmund team prediction: Burki; Piszczek, Hummels, Akanji; Hakimi, Dahoud, Delaney, Brandt; Guerreiro, Sancho, Hazard
